112–135 UCAS points in health and science qualifications, including:
- A-levels
- BTEC Extended Diploma at Distinction Distinction Merit
- Access to HE course to value of 30 Distinctions, 9 Merits and 6 Passes
Applicants will also need English Language and Mathematics at GCSE grade 4/C or above or an equivalent qualification. For example, Functional/Key Skills Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy.
Alternatively, we welcome a wide range of qualifications and qualification combinations to the value of 112 UCAS points. Typical other routes include:
- Foundation degree in related programmes (e.g. Nursing Associate, Healthcare Practice)
- International Baccalaureate with 26 points
- FETAC Level 5 with Merit in all modules
- Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship
Wherever possible, candidates are encouraged to gain practical work experience in a care setting prior to undertaking the programme.
All suitable applicants are required to attend an interview hosted online. This will include a series of short, value-based questions, tasks or scenarios.
Admission is subject to occupational health clearance and a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) enhanced check, including checks against the Adult and Child Workforce Barring lists.
English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5.
