Kingston University's Campuses
Kingston University and our campus locations
We’re proud of our beautiful location in the historic Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and our close ties with our local communities.
Kingston University offers a diverse and supportive environment across multiple campuses, each with its own unique charm, while being within easy reach of Central London and all its attractions.
Our students can be found studying at Kingston Hill or nestled in scenic woodlands next to Richmond Park. Whilst Kingston School of Art students enjoy the riverside setting at Knights Park, you'll find each campus brings something special to your academic journey. These campuses are all connected by Kingston University’s free intersite bus service, making it easy to move between locations.
Students at Kingston benefit from world-class facilities, from modern teaching spaces to specialist labs for engineering students at Roehampton Vale. You’ll feel right at home, with campuses designed to create a friendly and supportive environment. Our campus spaces encourage your academic growth and a strong sense of community.

Useful tools to find your way on campus
Explore the following pages to learn more about classroom locations and how to find your way around Kingston University:
Use the Room Finder in the KU App to locate your classroom. Our simple code-based system explains exactly where you’ll need to be. The KU App is the best tool to find your way across all Kingston campuses.
You can find downloadable maps of all Kingston University campuses on the relevant campus pages. If you’re more comfortable with a physical map than an app, we have a range of printable maps available.
Find out where to access services like health, careers, and academic support. Of course you’ll want to know your way to your classroom, and the student union. But don’t forget to familiarise yourself with other important locations, like Student Support Services.
Where to find your classroom
We’ve made navigating our campuses easy and convenient for students. With a simple numbering system, students can easily find their classrooms. Whether you’re on Penrhyn Road, Kingston Hill, or any other campus, you simply need to translate the campus code.
Each classroom code follows a consistent format: Campus Code | Building Code | Floor and Room Number. This makes it easier to locate your classroom, even across different campuses.
For example, the classroom code PRJG2002 is made up of:
- Campus code: PR - Penrhyn Road
- Building code: JG - John Galsworthy Building
- Room number: 2002 - note, the floor number is always the first digit in the room number.
To help you get to your classroom quickly, we’ve also created the Room Finder tool in the KU App, where you can search for your classroom by its code and get step-by-step directions.
