How to apply for undergraduate study
Applying for undergraduate study may seem complicated – but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s everything you need to know about how to apply for one of our undergraduate courses.

Making your application
For most of our undergraduate courses, you apply online through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You should submit your UCAS application between the beginning of September before you come to university and mid-January if you're a British or EU applicant.
For part-time study options, our art foundation courses and a small number of work-based courses, you'll need to apply directly either to the University or one of our partners. Please contact our admissions team using the details at the bottom of this page.
Applying through UCAS
You should submit your application as early as possible so you have the best chance of receiving the right offers. You can apply for up to five different courses. You will be able to follow the progress of your application through the UCAS Hub after you've applied.
How to apply for international students
If you are an international student applying for an undergraduate course, you need to follow the same steps as UK students by applying through UCAS or the UK Clearing system.
Alternatively, if you want to take an international foundation year before embarking on your undergraduate course, you can find out more about how to apply on our international foundation year section.
Immigration advice
If you require a student visa to study in the UK, you can find out more information about visas and immigration on our dedicated page.
The Home Office may change its qualifying criteria from time to time. Kingston University has no control over this, or the actions of any other party which may affect your ability to study in the UK. Visit the UK visas and immigration website for the latest information.
Please note that if you are an international student on a student visa and do not complete enrolment, or subsequently wish to change your mode of attendance, withdraw or take a break in your studies, your immigration status will change. Kingston University is required by law to report any change of study to the immigration authorities.
