Why give to Kingston University?
Your generosity makes a real difference in empowering students and advancing research at Kingston University.

Make a difference to someone's life
I set up a direct debit to donate to Kingston University's Hardship Fund, the same fund that twice saved my dream, saved my future and changed my life!
Make an impact on society
Kingston University is committed to making a difference through education, research, and support for students in need. Your donation enables us to provide opportunities for future leaders, scholars and professionals, helping to shape a more inclusive and innovative society. From funding postgraduate scholarships to supporting those facing financial hardship, every gift makes a difference.
As a supporter, you can directly contribute to the development of bright, ambitious students, enhance our world-leading research, and ensure that Kingston continues to provide a high-quality education. Whether you’re looking to fund a specific cause or make a general donation, your generosity plays a vital role in making Kingston University a place of opportunity and progress for all.
I wouldn't have realised my full potential without the bursary I received, so the offer to help others in the same way I was helped was truly compelling
Choose a cause to support
We are currently fundraising across a range of projects. You can make a difference to someone's life by making a donation to one of the areas below.
Care leavers often face additional challenges as they transition to university life. Our Care Leavers Bursaries offer financial support and tailored guidance to help these students thrive in their studies. By contributing to this fund, you can provide these students with the stability and support they need to succeed in higher education.
Young adult carers often juggle the pressures of studying with the responsibility of caring for family members. The Young Adult Carers Fund at Kingston University supports students who are carers, helping them balance their academic and personal responsibilities. By donating to this fund, you provide much-needed financial and emotional support for these dedicated individuals.
Many of our students face unforeseen financial challenges during their studies. The Student Hardship Fund supports students who are struggling to meet the cost of their education, allowing them to continue their studies without the added pressure of financial instability. Your donation helps ease the burden of tuition fees, accommodation costs and essential living expenses.
Every year, the University awards up to 20 Inspire the Future postgraduate scholarships. This is made possible through the generous support of alumni and friends. These scholarships are available to Kingston students who wish to pursue further study within a year of graduation.
The Inspire the Future scholarships are awarded to students who have excelled in their studies at Kingston, and also meet one of the following criteria:
- Less than £25,000 per year in family household income
- Disabled or have a specific learning difference
- Recognised by social services as a young adult carer
- Spent time in care in the UK, been placed in a foyer or are estranged from their family and were under 25 at the point of first enrolment at Kingston University.
The Opportunities Fund is designed to support the development of innovative projects and initiatives that benefit both students and the wider Kingston community. Whether it’s funding new facilities, enhancing student support services, or creating new academic opportunities, your donation can help expand the boundaries of what Kingston University can achieve.
Kingston University is dedicated to advancing knowledge and solving real-world problems through innovative research. The Research Fund helps support world-class research projects across a variety of fields, from health and technology to the arts and social sciences. Your contribution helps provide the resources and funding needed to carry out cutting-edge research that benefits society.
