A Levels, including Chemistry with a minimum of Grade C. Alternatively, a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science (Chemistry) with merits in the following units:
- Unit 1 – "Principles and Applications in Science 1"
- Unit 5 – "Principles and Applications in Science 2"
- Unit 13 – "Applications of Inorganic Chemistry"
- Unit 14 – "Applications of Organic Chemistry"
Or a Merit in T-Level science, including a minimum of a B in the Core component and a merit in the Occupational Specialism, either in laboratory sciences or metrology sciences.
GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, or a recognised equivalent, is also required.
Alternatively, we will consider a range of Level 3 qualifications, such as an Access Course in a relevant science subject (Applied Science or Chemistry). This will need to have been passed with 112 UCAS points, including 15 level 3 credits in Chemistry, with minimum of 10 L3 credits at Distinction and 5 L3 credits at Merit, and 15 level 3 credits in Biology at Merit. Applications from those who have undertaken a Science foundation year will also be considered.
Entry onto this course does not require an interview, entrance test, audition or portfolio.
English language requirement for this course: Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5.
