The Kingston Bursary

There are at least 500 bursaries of £2,000 (in the first year of study) available to eligible 'Home' fee-status students who start an undergraduate course at Kingston University in September 2025.

Who will receive a bursary?

Eligible students will be identified automatically and you do not need to apply for the bursary. However, please read the 'what you need to do' section below to ensure we can consider your eligibility.

Please note that completing the steps below does not guarantee receipt of a bursary.

What you need to do

To be considered for the Kingston Bursary you should

  • Firmly accept your offer from Kingston University for September 2025 entry
  • Apply for your student finance support by the UCAS reply deadline of 5 June 2025. You must have a household income assessment fully completed by the relevant organisation in order to be considered for the Kingston Bursary. Without this completed assessment (with all evidence verified) you cannot be considered for the bursary. You must have Kingston University and your course with us listed as your first choice in your Student Finance application and have consented to share information with the University.
  • Fully enrol as a student at Kingston University in September 2025 no later than the first teaching week.

What will happen next?

We will contact eligible students who have been awarded the Kingston Bursary, in October 2025.

Students in receipt of the Kingston Bursary, who have fully enrolled and meet ongoing attendance requirements, will receive this as a payment in three instalments, paid into the UK bank account you have registered for Student Finance.
