The half summer school programme
Get a taste for studying abroad with Kingston University.
Open to international students from around the world, this 2-week summer school programme at Kingston University provides the opportunity to experience university-level study during the summer and British culture first-hand.
This programme is normally delivered across four weeks. However, if you need to go home halfway through, this 2-week offering can provide a taster for studying abroad. You’ll join the 4-week summer school’s classes and social events, with each class fully accredited and worth 1.5 U.S. / 3 ECTS credits each.

Please note, all applicants must be aged 18 or over on 2 July 2025. The online application form will give you the option to select the full summer school or the half summer school.
Costs
The cost of the 2-week summer school 2025 programme is:
£2,440 sterling per student for one class or
£2,760 sterling per student for two classes.
This price includes:
- group transportation to your accommodation from Heathrow or Gatwick airports
- return group transportation to Heathrow or Gatwick airports
- tuition fees, field trips and entrance fees for class visits
- 17 nights' accommodation in single-occupancy bedrooms with shared bathroom and shared kitchen facilities
- lunch or dinner for the first four days of the programme
- library and computing facilities, including email and internet access
- unlimited travel on the underground, buses, overground and trains throughout Greater London (zones 1–6)
- a calendar of social events
- orientation programme, including a walking tour of Kingston town and the University
- enrolment at Kingston University and certificate of credits earned on completion of the programme
The price does not include:
- roundtrip airfare and/or other travel costs for getting to the UK
- local travel outside Greater London
- food and beverages (unless specified)
- accommodation for friends and family of students
- costs of additional travel at weekends
How to apply
The online application form is now open for Summer School 2025 and will close on 30 April 2025.
You will need to upload a copy of your university transcript, a digital photo, and a copy of your biometric passport page. If you do not yet have all the documents you can return to your application to upload them at a later date. Please keep a copy of your email with your applicant reference number if you need to return to the application to add documents later.
