Postgraduate tuition fees
If you’ve received an offer to study, or are already studying, a postgraduate course with Kingston University, here are all our postgraduate tuition fees.

What are our postgraduate tuition fees?
Tuition fees for our postgraduate courses are dependent on:
- Whether you’re studying for a taught or research postgraduate degree
- Whether you’re a home student (resident in the UK for at least three years) or an international student (a non-UK resident studying in the UK)
Here, you can find all the postgraduate fees for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 academic years.
Postgraduate taught tuition fees
Tuition fees for our postgraduate taught courses vary from course to course. You can explore the fees for all our postgraduate taught courses on our postgraduate course pages.

Additional information
Students studying for an equivalent or lower qualification (ELQ students)
Full-time UK students studying for an ELQ will be charged the ELQ fee. Where the standard fee for the course is higher than the ELQ fee, the higher fee will apply. For part-time UK students, the fee charged will be pro-rata the ELQ fee amount.
This does not apply to full-fee paying international students, who pay the full international fee regardless of whether this course is an equivalent or lower level qualification.
Why we charge fees
University postgraduate courses are funded in two ways:
- one part is paid by central government, allocated through the Higher Education Funding Council for England/TDA
- the other part is paid by or on behalf of the student
The Government sets the basic full-time fee level payable by either home or international students (classified for fees purposes). The international fee is higher as it reflects the full cost of the course. The University receives no additional government funding for such students.
Please note that Kingston University reserves the right to amend its tuition fees at any time.
