Research

My key area of research and specialism is the history of the printed image and the processes and journey it takes through reproduction, translation and documentation. My own practice is informed by the language of print, using discarded publications as material for collages, sculptures and multiples that explore themes of Utopian landscapes and interpretations of architectural schemes and models.

I have presented at International Print Symposiums in China (2010 & 2013) and New Zealand (2015). Recent exhibitions: Pro Patria - solo show at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill and 2015 London Open at The Whitechapel Gallery. In 2016 I was invited to give a Public Lecture at The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow, Russia, in response to the exhibition Proof: Work of Francisco Goya, Sergei Eisenstein, and Robert Longo. From 2019-2021, along with artist Bob Matthews, we initiated the inaugural  Artists in Residence at the London Library.
