I have worked in HE since 2005 in a range of staff development roles, including Learning Technologist and Senior Lecturer in Learning & Teaching. I joined Kingston University in January 2019 and will be supporting the delivery of the KAPS programme - Kingston's HEA-accredited framework which recognises the professional practice of experienced colleagues at Kingston within the UK Professional Standards Framework. I will also be contributing to the Introduction to Learning and Teaching (ILT) programme as well as the CPD programme at Kingston.
2011 JISC award for an OER case study (£1000)
My research interests include academic staff development needs for blended and online learning; ways technology can be used pedagogically to enhance learning; curriculum design; learning theories; Open Educational Resources and the future of online learning.
Publications include monograms and conference/keynote presentations - read more in Kingston University's Research Repository (a digital archive of published research produced by Kingston University staff and researchers).
