I would definitely recommend staying in halls when you first join university because you'll make so many new friends and make crazy fun memories together. Living in university halls was the best months of my life.
Zarnab Nazir (Walkden, Kingston Hill)
I lived in halls in my first year and it is one of the most memorable times of my university experience. That's when it really started to feel like I was at uni – sharing a flat with five other people, making my room feel like my own space, it was fantastic!
Liam Alexander (Seething Wells)

Halls at Kingston University are located close to campus. Many students walk to lectures and study facilities from their rooms.
If you have a car, permits for car parking are available at most of our hall sites (there is no parking available at Seething Wells and 71–75 Penrhyn Road). There are also secure cycle racks and/or sheds if you want to bring a bike.
Our halls are linked to the main University campuses by a free intersite bus service that also serves Kingston town centre and Surbiton station.
The University employs three facilities management companies to run our halls of residence.
