About
I am from the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire and have been working part-time at Kingston School of Art since 2019. Ive made several independent animated films that have been shown at short film festivals/galleries around the world picking up several awards including (LIAF Best British film, Vienna Shorts Quartier 21 winner and the RCA Daler Downey Drawing Prize) and have had several retrospectives of my work. The films are mostly free flowing hand drawn (various materials) explorations of a range topics that i find interesting from Hulk Hogan, The Alphabet, to how all animals have their own fascinating life cycles and many others. Seeing the culmination of movement, a main topic, sound and editing all coming together is always very exciting to me.
Alongside my animation practice i've also created many sculpture and sound pieces which have been exhibited alongside my moving image work. I work part-time as a Senior Lecturer on the Illustration Animation BA course at Kingston School of Art and have done talks and workshops at several international institutions. I continue to work on my own practice at my studio in South East London.

I am a Senior Lecturer working in Level 4 and Level 5 on the BA Illustration Animation Course. I am a Module Leader for the Process Module - Materials and Methods and a Personal Tutor (level 4). I lead several introduction to animation workshops throughout level 4.
