About
I am a Senior Lecturer, module leader for 'International & Comparative Law' and 'International Criminal & Human Rights Law', and part of the Public Law teaching team. I am also employability and competitions lead (IBA ICC Moot, EHRMCC, ELMC), coaching a team that won the UK round of the ICC Moot in recent times.
My research expertise and interest lie in comparative law, and in the relationship between Africa and public law / international justice. Founder of the research Globalisation and Law Group research group.
I taught Law at City University, the University of Surrey and the University of North London. I was also visiting lecturer at the Universities of Maribor and Mikolas Romeris, and taught aspects of legal translations in the linguistics department at City University. Current external examiner at Bournemouth University and at the University of the West of England.
Currently undertaking a PHD in African comparative constitutional law, a judge at the International Law Jessup Moot, and a volunteer at Breaking Barriers, helping refugees.
I recently completed a course on Constitution-Building in Africa by CEU, and was involved in a 'People's Tribunal on Crimes of Aggression: the Afghanistan Sessions' organised by Bezna as an independent legal advisor.
