About
After completing my degrees in Zoology (BSc Hons), Pollution and Environmental Control (MSc) and ecological invertebrate pest control and behaviour (PhD), I joined Kingston University in 1996 as a lecturer. I have been at various stages course leader, field leader, deputy head of school, acting head of school and head of department.
Research interests: invertebrate behaviour and low temperature biology of invertebrates.
Teaching responsibilities: include environmental and organism biology, evolution, research methods and biological statistics.
Qualifications
- BSc Hons Zoology (1st class)

- PhD
- SFHEA
- FRSB
Domains
Lecturer in organismal biology & ecology, evolution, genetics, biological statistics, research and study skills.
Module leader LS6014 Projects (Bioscience) and LS5004 Research Methods & Concepts in Evolutionary Biology
Qualifications
- PhD
- MSc
- BSc Hons Zoology (1st class)
- Senior Fellow, Higher Education Academy
- Fellow, Royal Society of Biology
Courses taught
My background is the behavioural ecology of agricultural pests, particularly molluscs. I am also interested in the low temperature biology of terrestrial molluscs and molluscs as hosts of parasites.
