About
I am an engaged scholar specialising in HR Analytics, The Role of HR in the Digital Age and the Future of Work. I lead HR Analytics and professional development modules for MSc Global HRM.
My research interests are,
Using technology such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in Reducing Modern Slavery.
How AI and HR analytics can help organisations create equality, diversity, and inclusion business cases.
I have been part of UKRI research funding valued at £150 K. The research focused on SMEs' digital adoption and ethics.
Before joining Kingston Business School, I worked for Birkbeck, University of London (2012 to 2019), Brunel University (2019- 2021) and University of Bedfordshire (2021-2023). At the University of Bedfordshire, I led the MSc HRM programme and managed relationships with International academic partners. I represented the faculty at various reach forums and knowledge transfer initiatives.
I am a believer in industry and academic collaboration. Before moving to academia, I worked for the Discovery Channel as an HRM and post-production Manager and as an HR consultant for Mahindra-British Telecom, now Tech Mahindra. As a part of my public engagement, I have shared my views on diversity at the House of Lords, MATV and Bedford University Radio.

I specialise in Future of work, AI and HR Analytics. My teaching is focused on helping students develop contemporary knowledge in the field of HRM. I am passionate about supporting students to navigate through the uncertain world of work.
My teaching is supported by engaged scholarship, research, and consulting experience. I use innovative teaching techniques to engage with my students. My teaching encompasses academic videos, films, social media, guest lecturers, practical expertise, and simulations.
I believe in social learning and encourage my students to share their experiences and expertise with their fellow students.

I have worked in various countries and taught students across nationalities. Before joining academia, I worked for Discovery Channel and British Telecom and ran a consulting company which specialised in HRM and digital adoption.
I am currently leading the student wellbeing project for IIT Bombay.
Impact of the project - IIT Bombay would establish a zero suicide charter and build robust interventions to support student wellbeing.
I have deciminated my knowledge of EDI and Analytics at various professional forums sich as CIPD (Charterered Institute of Personnel Development), BCS (British Computer Society), Union 21.
Impact - My thought leadership in the EDI is recognised by professional bodies.
