About
I joined Kingston University in September 2023 as a senior lecturer in Nursing. Prior to this, I worked at a number of HEIs in the UK (University of Manchester, University of Huddersfield) and overseas (Beijing University). I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students (pre-registration), as well as workforce development (post-registration healthcare professionals). I have experiences in postgraduate student supervision (both master level and PhD).
My 10 years clinical experiences in caring for individuals with acute and long term conditions have fostered a great sense of commitment in exploring ways to enhance their self-management of their conditions, particularly for those with multiple conditions.
My research interests are mainly but not limited in health promotion, long term condition management (particularly in Diabetes, Cardiovascular and Renal conditions) and healthcare workforce management (such as staff wellbeing (spirituality, resilience, wellbeing), staff commitment and retention) and E-health.
