About
I graduated from Kingston University with a Biomedical Science degree and proceeded to study for a PhD at St George's Hospital, University of London. My PhD research investigated the distribution and role of key haemopoietic stem cell markers. I joined Kingston University academic team within the department of Biomolecular Sciences in 2004 in the disciplines of haematology and immunology. Since that time I have taken on a number of roles as course leader, and am currently lead for our MSc Biomedical Science - Medical Microbiology and deputy lead for BSc Biomedical Science courses, both accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science. My main research interests are now focused on pedagogic research and improving the student experience.
