About
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of East Anglia (MChem) in 2011, before undertaking a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry (focussing on nanomaterials) under the supervision of Professor Ivan Parkin at University College London (UCL), finishing in 2014. Subsequently, I moved to Swansea University for a postdoctoral role in the College of Engineering under Dr Charles Dunnill and Professor Andrew Barron. I then won a Ramsay Memorial Fellowship at UCL from 2015, hosted by Professor Ivan Parkin on the synthesis of vanadium organometallics as precursors for thermochromic vanadium dioxide. On completion of my fellowship, I was appointed as Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry at Kingston University in 2017.

My current research portfolio encompasses a wide variety of disciplines within the field of Materials Chemistry including: quantum dots, organogels, drug delivery, nanoparticle synthesis and functionalisation, superhydrophobic surfaces, chemical vapour deposition (CVD), precursor and polymer synthesis and catalysis.
