Dr Federico Buonocore

I have over 5 years of experience in the field of chemistry in industries. I joined Kingston University as a pharmaceutical lecturer in 2018. My research interests include primarily drug discovery and delivery. The current focus of my research is the discovery of alternative formulation for pulmonary drug delivery and the design of hydrogels for controlled dug delivery for antitumoral as well as their antimicrobial application. My teaching approach includes well designed teaching methods that promote a stimulating learning environment, with the aim to inspire and motivate students to achieve skills/knowledge required for higher level qualifications and future employment.
