Kingston School of Art students create bear sculpture to shine new light on homelessness and the climate crisis this festive period

Students from Kingston School of Art's Creative and Cultural Industries have created The Giving Bear, a light sculpture which encourages shoppers to donate to homelessness charities while drawing attention to the climate crisis. Working with resource management company Veolia in partnership with New West End Company and Westminster City Council, the students pitched their ideas and worked together on the chosen project.

Kingston University Stylophone Orchestra record David Bowie classic Space Oddity with super producer Tony Visconti

Kingston University's Stylophone Orchestra have released their take on David Bowie's 1969 classic Space Oddity. Aided by the legendary producer Tony Visconti, it marks the 50th anniversary of the track and is the first release from the orchestra, thought to be the only Stylophone Orchestra in the world.
