A new scholarship, supported by Kingston University graduate and award-winning international designer Paul Bishop, has launched to give an opportunity to one prospective interior design or product and furniture design student. A team of student engineers from Kingston University are set to pit their race car against others from around the world after arriving at Silverstone for the annual Formula Student competition. The University team, supported by academics and technicians from the Faculty of Science, Computing and Engineering, have spent the past 18 months designing and building a single seater race car which they will put to the test in a series of gruelling events at the home of British motorsport.
