Mr Waruna Masinghe

About

I graduated as an electrical engineer from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2004. I also completed CIMA(UK) in parallel to my engineering studies. After working in textile industry briefly as a productivity engineer, I joined Srilankan Airlines as an Engineering Instructor and managed to obtain Instructor approval for Airbus  A320 and EASA part 66 on avionics. 

I have been working as a Senior Lecturer in Aircraft Engineering at Kingston university  since  2008. I completed my master of research  degree on mathematical modelling of human upper limb in 2012.

Currently I am acting as  the course  leader for aircraft engineering courses-BEng Aircraft, BEng Aircraft Top-up and Foundation Engineering in Aircraft. I am also acting as the university liaison officer for UK and international partners for Aircraft engineering.
