We realise that arriving in a new country and meeting new people may be initially confusing and stressful as well as exciting. Our aim is to make sure that you are prepared for studying at Kingston by arranging a specific tailored orientation session. This will take place as follows:
Topics normally covered include:
There will an informal welcome reception on the evening of Friday 3 January where you can meet other new visiting students in one of Kingston's most popular pubs. The event is invite-only and all relevant students will be e-mailed further details in their pre-arrival information.
Enrolment is the event when you confirm your status as a Kingston University student and will receive your student identity card. There are two stages, the first part of which is done online and the second in-person (identity check).
It is completely unrelated to registering in individual modules (or 'classes', which is fully discussed at the SAIL orientation.
