Composites lab

The composites laboratory at the Roehampton Vale campus is an environment for educational, research, and development activity in composite materials and structures.

The aims of the laboratory are to promote the understanding and the use of composite materials, to maintain advanced manufacturing and testing facilities to conduct basic research, and to provide an up-to-date knowledge and technology base.

Our composites lab is designated to allow the full range of specimen manufacture, preparation, and testing. The manufacture of composite components and specimens can be done in either an autoclave or a vacuum hot press.
