Final year shows
Every year undergraduate and postgraduate students get to showcase their work at shows held in Kingston and at various events around London.
The following are examples of some of the events Kingston students exhibit at:
Undergraduate degree show
The Kingston School of Art degree show takes place at Kingston School of Art, Knights Park each summer as a celebration of our students' achievements.
The range of visitors includes industry professionals, students and the general public. It's a chance for everyone to enjoy the innovation and creativity at Kingston; and an opportunity for our students to showcase their collections to potential employers.
Fashion BA(Hons) at Graduate Fashion Week
Kingston students have the opportunity to exhibit their work at London's Graduate Fashion Week (GFW). Created to provide a showcase of the year's best new talent under one roof for potential employers, national and international media and industry, GFW is the largest graduate fashion event in the world.
Following their show, Kingston students have gained press coverage from Vogue Italia, Disorder Magazine and The Guardian newspaper amongst many others.
Postgraduate events and shows
Our postgraduate students don't miss out on the opportunity to show their final year work and can be found exhibiting during the London Design Festival and London Fashion Week. Postgraduate show locations have included:
- Vauxhall Fashion Scout as part of London Fashion Week;
- Designers Block at London's Southbank Centre; and
- Super Brands and Tent London as part of the London Design Festival.
