Care leaver bursary
Kingston University provides a package of support for care leaver students, which includes a separate bursary for all students leaving care.
Who is eligible?
If you are under the care of your local authority or are a foyer resident.
We will ask for verification from your support worker/key worker/foyer manager. You will also need to be assessed as a 'home' status student for fee purposes.
How much is the bursary?
The bursary is worth £1,500 and will be paid to you in three instalments, unless you ask us to use it as a fee waiver or discount on your Kingston University accommodation.
