Study law

Our law courses are accredited as Qualifying Law Degrees by the Bar Standards Board (BSB) and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and are ideal if you wish to pursue a career as a solicitor or barrister, or an international legal career.

You can choose to study law, where you'll gain an understanding of the English legal system and graduate with the legal knowledge, skills and experience valued by employers. Or you may choose to study international law and study key topics of international relevance such as trade, criminal and human rights law.

Over the course of both degrees, you may lead mock trials and cross-examine forensic experts and witnesses in court, work in our Legal Advice Centre or participate in one of our international mooting or client interviewing competitions.

You'll have the opportunity to do internships during your degree, a sandwich placement or study abroad as an additional year, which will boost your employability skills.
