I am a senior lecturer in building surveying at Kingston University. Prior to joining Kingston in 2020, I have over 15 years of experience in construction, urban planning, architecture and building surveying.
I am a qualified architect. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the School of Architecture at the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP). I earned my Masters in Conservation of Historic Buildings (MPhil) at the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP) and worked in collaboration with the local authorities surveying building defects on historical buildings after the impacts of natural disasters. I also hold a research degree in building pathology and earthquake simulations.
I am an active member of ICOMOS-UNESCO International Council on Monuments and Sites since 2009. I am an active researcher developing new technologies with artificial intelligence. I am currently the KTP Champion for the Department of Civil Engineering, Surveying and Construction Management.
