Professor Ana Nikcevic

About

Following the BSc (Hons) degree in Clinical Psychology (University of Belgrade) and the MSc in Health Psychology (City University London), I held a Research Associate post at the Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine, King's College Hospital, London (1997-2001), and became a Charted Psychologist with the British Psychological Society in 2002. I completed my clinical training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy at the University College London and Camden & Islington NHS Trust in 2000, and became an Accredited CBT Practitioner in 2004.

Completion of my PhD in Psychology at King's College London in 2002 was followed by visiting lectureship at City University London. I joined Kingston University in 2002 as a Lecturer in Psychology. I held an Honorary Research Fellow position with Kings' College Hospital in London (2014-2016) and was a Visiting Professor of Psychology at Sigmund Freud University, Milan, Italy (2016-2021).

I am currently appointed Professor of Psychology and Mental Health at Kingston University, where I am the Course Director of the MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology, and the Academic Lead for the Clinical and Applied Behavioural Research Group (CABRG).
