I am a Illustrator and Arts Facilitator
The key threads which can be found in my work are place, the mundane and overlooked narratives. My visual language comprises of a myriad of esoteric layers informed by a propensity for human-centred research methodologies.
As a practitioner my aims are to provide my audience with 'the shock of the familiar' and to trigger greater intergenerational discussion. I have a strong interest in participatory design, relational aesthetics and documenting social history as it unfolds. This has led me to undertake Artist Residencies both locally and internationally as well as completing a number of socially engaged projects with local community groups.
My work can be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of London. I have designed a special edition Air Max 95 Sneaker for Nike. Over the last few years I have given talks at a range of institutions ranging from It's Nice That's: Nicer Tuesday, Central Saint Martins UAL and Eastside Projects - Birmingham. In addition I have worked on a range of editorial illustrations for clients such as Penguin, WeTransfer and The Design Museum.
As an educator I have had the privilege of teaching at Camberwell College of Art UAL, Royal College of Art and University for the Creative Arts before starting at Kingston.
