I am an illustrator, educator and founder of It's Freezing in LA! (IFLA!), an independent non-profit platform sharing climate and environmental stories. My work includes creative direction, production, editing and facilitation work. I have visited a range of visual communication courses around the country for over 6 years.
Focusing on inter and transdisciplinary collaboration, much of my work is in partnership with others. I am interested in how open-minded and non-judgemental discussion can lead to collective curiosity and new perspectives. Collaborators include Wellcome Collection, MAAT and Studio Olafur Eliasson.
My ongoing research focuses on visual storytelling in climate and environmentalism. I have shared these ideas at Samsung KX, MassArt and the 11th Illustration Research Symposium. Features include Nowness, Eye on Design and It's Nice That.
