Ms Borbála Soós

About

I am a London-based curator and an active advocate, participant and organiser of artistic and ecological research. My practice responds to, disrupts and enriches environmental thinking and related social, political and decolonial urgencies.

I am currently working as Curator at the Stanley Picker Gallery, Kingston University, London. Between 2022 and 2023 I was Artist Caretaker at Eastside Projects, Birmingham, and between 2012 and 2019 I ran Tenderpixel, a small contemporary art gallery in central London.

I curated projects in collaboration with the Kunsthalle Bratislava; tranzit, Bratislava; FUTURA, Prague; OFF-Biennale, Budapest; Trafó House of Contemporary Arts, Budapest; Rupert, Vilnius; ICA, London; Camden Arts Centre, London; Wysing Arts Centre, UK; CCA Derry-Londonderry etc.

I have been visiting lecturer at Goldsmiths College, the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins, Edinburgh College of Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, among others.
