I studied at the University of Liverpool and the University of Oregon, USA and combine practice with teaching, writing and research.
I am the author of The Architecture of Parking (Thames & Hudson, 2007), which won the RIBA International Book Award for Construction in 2008, and Redefining Brutalism (RIBA Publications, 2017). I also write the Beyond London column for Archdaily.
Built works by my practice Henley Halebrown include Talkback TV, St Benedict's School, the Junction Arts and Civic (Goole), the Akerman health centre, 1-6 Copper Lane (London's first co-housing project), Hackney New Primary School, the De Beauvoir Block and the Chadwick Hall of residence for the University of Roehampton.
Here at the Kingston School of Art, I teach MArch Unit 2 studio with Tom Coward.
