About

I co-ordinate the English for Academic and Professional Development (EAPD) in-sessional programme, which offers a wide range of academic communication skills and English language support across the university.

I also co-ordinate, develop and deliver short courses for international clients, including teacher training and intensive English language for specific purposes, such as global citizenship and multicultural education.

My main areas of research are ESP, English as a lingua franca, World Englishes, new technologies in language teaching and multicultural education. I am currently researching the affordances of AI chatbots in higher education.
