About

I taught Furniture Design at various institutions, both at MA and BA level, before joining Kingston School of Art's Product and Furniture course in 2016.

I also run a design consultancy where I specialise in designing furniture for retailers and manufacturers such as SCP, Joined + Jointed and Heal's. My main area of interest is the domestic market where I endeavour to provide practical and useful solutions to improve the home environment. I am interested in maintaining the clarity of an object's function by focusing on its utility and intended use.

I actively use my professional expertise and knowledge to inform my teaching and believe this enhances the students' experience by informing them as to the reality of working in this chosen industry.

Additionally, I enjoy creating work for exhibitions and shows when I get the opportunity.
