About

An architect with a Masters in Historic Building Conservation, I studied at the Polytechnic of Central London (PCL), the University of North London (now CASS) returning to the University of Westminster (formerly PCL) for my part 3.

I have 25 years' experience in education, having taught at the Welsh school of Architecture, Westminster, and Nottingham Universities.  I am an external examiner, Part 3, for the RIBA as well as having been a visiting critic at the Bartlett, AA, Cass and Newcastle University.

In practice, prior to joining KSA, I worked for established practices such as van Heyningen and Haward and Avanti Architects.

My current teaching and research interests are anchored in two areas of the discipline and as a consequence of my long-term preoccupations of making architecture and working with historic fabric.
