About

Currently a freelance researcher and lecturer, I have worked across archaeology, museums and the arts. Recent roles include the Towards a National Collection project Unpath'd Waters, at Bangor University, combining scientific survey data with maritime archives to surface new stories and, for the University of Chester, researching the ways archaeology and the arts bring value to peatland restoration projects and the potential for expanding collaborative practices.

From 2016-2022 I was a regional lead for CITiZAN, the Coastal and Intertidal Zone Archaeological Network, a national project focusing on climate change and coastal erosion. I have worked as a curator for Åland Maritime Museum, a collections/education officer for the Weald and Downland Living Museum and on immersive experiences with a cultural association in France. I am interested in making archaeology and museums accessible, relevant and useful to the widest audience possible and I see creative, transdisciplinary crossovers as a powerful way to achieve this.
