I am a Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering in Kingston University London, UK. After receiving my PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering in Tianjin University, China, I started to develop my research career in City University London, Queen's University Belfast and Cranfield University, UK as a Research Fellow. I have since established and maintained broad research interests and experience, including computational aerodynamics, computational aeroacoustics, passive flow control, boundary layer transition, ice accretion simulation for aircraft and wind-turbine, and scale-resolving turbulence modelling techniques, etc. I have been engaged in EU, Innovate UK and EPSRC research projects. I am supervising three PhD projects as PI and one as Co-I.
Apart from research, I have been fully engaged in all aspects of teaching and learning in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) Aerospace engineering courses in Kingston University. I am teaching MSc and BEng/MEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering modules. I am the course leader of MSc Aerospace Engineering. I am supervising UG and PG individual projects.
I am a Member of Royal Aeronautical Society (MRAeS) and a chartered aeronautical engineer (CEng). I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
