I am a qualified pharmacist specialising in Clinical Governance and Pharmacy Ethics & Practice. My career has been dedicated to designing and developing pharmacy services across a wide range of clinical settings in addition to clinical training frameworks for hospital pharmacy.
I teach across a wide range of modules from level 4 (year 1 MPharm) to level 7 (year 4 MPharm). I am the Module Lead for PY5110 Medicines and Health Policy which is a module that covers topics such as public policy, theories in healthcare, and, wider pharmacy practice topics. In addition to this, I am joint OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) lead for level 4 and level 5FD.
My research focuses on digital technology implementations and infrastructure sustainability in primary care pharmacy practice. Each year I supervise a number of master's level pharmacy students with research topics in this field in collaboration with industry.
