About

I have spent over thirty years in industry and academia, I have worked as design, Research and development engineer in nuclear, Pressure vessel design and High speed machinery industries. I have had research and teaching positions in many Universities such as Manchester, Teesside, Loughborough,  Imperial college and Open.

I am a chartered Engineer and senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy. I have been involved in research and consultancy in Dynamics of machinery and structures as well as pedagogical issues. I have been blended Learning leader in the Faculty of Engineering working to employ learning technologies and innovative methods in Engineering Education. I have been Field leader and course director in Aerospace Engineering and currently am the admission tutor and Erasmus coordinator in Aerospace Engineering.
