I am a Lecturer at Kingston Business School's Department of Management. I earned a doctorate degree from Dalian University of Technology with a specialisation in Green Supply Chain Management. I hold both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree from the London School of Economics and political Science and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, respectively. Before joining Kingston University, I held positions as an Assistant Research Professor at Minjiang University and a Research Associate at Cardiff University.
My primary research focus centres on Sustainability and Circular Economy within the domain of Operations and Supply Chain Management. I have conducted independent research in this field and collaborated with others, employing varied research methodologies. My research has been published in various reputable management peer-reviewed journals including Production Planning & Control and the Journal of Cleaner Production. My scholarly contributions are rooted in public value, contributing to a deeper understanding of how sustainable supply chains can be implemented in industries like construction and agri-food. I have received several highly competitive awards from various countries. In 2014, I received a recognition award from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for my leadership potential in the field of Sustainability Science.
I possess a blend of skills and passion for designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that are informed by both pedagogical scholarship and professional practice. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE). Currently, I teach undergraduates and postgraduates modules including Global Operations and Strategic Operations and Outsourcing.
