Dr Jarek Francik

About

I am a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Poland, received my PhD from the University of Lille, France, and eventually moved to the UK to enhance my perspectives as a researcher and academic lecturer. Currently with Kingston University, London, I am a passionate lecturer in Games Development and Design, and a researcher in artificial intelligence, sensor technology and virtual reality. I have worked with industry on a wide variety of projects - from coal mining to finances, from lift industry to aviation. Most recently I have been working on sensing, simulation and 3D visualisation software for the elevator and escalator industry. When not programming, or gaming, or reading, I am probably out in some desolate spot, birdwatching.
