Dr Jalal Siddiki

About

I obtained my PhD from Kingston University in 1999 and joined Kingston University in December 1999. Prior to joining Kingston I was research and teaching assistant in Leicester University.  My main areas of teaching are in applied econometrics and mathematics, macroeconomics and development economics. I successfully completed the supervision of seven PhD students and currently supervising two.

My research areas include finance, trade, unofficial exchange rates, fiscal policy and growth. My research work published in Applied Economics, Contemporary Economic Policy, Empirical Economics, the International Economic Journal, Journal of Applied Statistics and Journal of Economic Surveys.
