Dr Ian Piper

About

I am currently both an Associate Professor in Pharmacology and the lead for the Foundation year in Science, that forms part of the extended degrees in School of Life Sciences.  My leadership responsibilities include managing a small team of Foundation Lecturers and Post Graduate Assistants who focus is in the delivery of Foundation level teaching.

I joined Kingston University in 1996 as a Lecturer in Pharmacology before becoming Associate Professor in 2015.  During my time at Kingston I have had a number of roles in terms of course leader, overseeing a number of collaborative partnerships and Faculty-based roles.

Prior to joining Kingston, I was a Lecturer in Physiology and Pharmacology at UCLAN (1994-1996) and a Post-Doctoral Associate at University of Manchester & Hope Hospital Salford.
