Dr Ali Heidari

About

I am the Admissions Recruitment & Outreach Tutor at the Department of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. I have been working at Kingston university since 2007 and I was awarded a PhD in Fluid Dynamics from Kingston University. Currently I am a senior lecturer specialising in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat and Mass Transfer, Combustion and Energy Engineering, Aerodynamics and High Performance Computing (HPC).

I have been involved in various research projects on fire and explosion studies carried out on behalf of leading gas and oil companies. I am also a member of the Fire, Explosion and Fluid Dynamics (FEFD) research team at Kingston University and teach thermofluids to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
