2010 Enfield Innovators Competition

Calling all budding entrepreneurs and inventors – Enfield Council, in conjunction with the Knowledge East and West Focus innovation networks (a collaboration between seven universities in London and the Thames Valley including Kingston University) are delighted to announce the launch of the 2010 Enfield Innovators Competition.

The competition is open to residents of Enfield Borough as well as students studying and SMEs located in the area.

The closing date for the competition is 5.00pm on Monday 4 October. Short listed entrants will then be invited to pitch live, 'Dragon’s Den'-style, for one of the three £20,000 category prizes. Competition winners will be announced in mid-October 2010.

There will be a number of workshops and innovation events held across the borough during September to help people with their applications. Come and meet innovators, inventors and entrepreneurial experts at our Innovation workshops on the following dates:

  • Saturday 11 September at Thomas Hardy House, Enfield Town (2.00–4.00pm)
  • Monday 13 September at Picketts Lock Centre, Edmonton (6.30–8.30pm)
  • Tuesday 21 September at Southgate College, Southgate (4.00–6.00pm)
