Kingston University has been awarded the management contact for the newly formed Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths (STEM) University Enterprise Network (UEN).
Managing the partnership of SEEDA, NCGE, BAe Systems, Microsoft and six south east universities; Brunel, Kent, Kingston, Royal Holloway, Portsmouth and Surrey, is a measure of Kingston University's prowess in joint ventures.
Starting this month, the partnership, with funding of £1,000,000 over three years, will address enterprise development and technology development needs.
The benefits will come from enhanced student experience and opportunity, linking with businesses for Knowledge Transfer and commercialisation, embedding enterprise in the curriculum and building staff enterprise capability.
