Research project: Current dietary trends and their contribution to eating disorders

Abstract

We aim to investigate prevalence of eating disorder symptoms and socio-cognitions across specific dietary regimens in a community sample, namely, veganism, vegetarianism, keto diet and intermittent fasting. We also aim to explore the presence of attentional biases towards food across our chosen dietary trends and whether these biases could be associated with specific eating disorder symptoms.
