Research project: The optimum model for pharmacist education

Abstract

This thesis is aiming to create a framework to support the delivery of postgraduate continuing professional development events for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.

Biography

I am a registered pharmacist, bringing experience from practice into teaching and research. I started my career working for Boots in various management and training roles, and progressed into academia through a teacher practitioner role. I started at Kingston in 2014 teaching in the Pharmacy Practice team. To bring current practice into teaching I ensure I still locum. I am involved across South London with pharmacist education and training events, and education and training interventions form the basis of my research, with my PhD focusing on the optimum model for training of pharmacists and evaluation of this.
