Science courses

Whatever your scientific interest, there's a course for you at Kingston. We cover a wide range of subject areas: biochemistry, biological, biomedical, environmental, forensic or Geography.

You'll develop extensive practical skills using our high tech equipment, labs and facilities, which are designed to give you the experience of working in industry standard settings. Our forensic science students have access to the scene of the crime house, which allows students to gain real-world practical experience using both specialist equipment and precise techniques to obtain and preserve samples and evidence from the scene of a crime. The facilities five rooms contain mock crime scenes, including burglary, arson, assault and sexual crime. Our environmental science students have the opportunity to apply their studies to real-life situations, through field work in the UK and overseas.

Our courses are accredited or recognised by different professional bodies including the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, the Royal Society of Biology and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

Many of our courses have an integrated foundation year or the option to undertake a placement year.
